Energy that heals.
A combination of words put together by our founder to represent the invisible softness that holds you, restores you, and reminds you who you are.

Our philosophy:

Ethea is a space where matter meets meaning. Each piece is created as a vessel—holding intention, frequency, and words for subtle transformation. Designed to be worn, placed, or experienced, our creations exist to gently shift your internal world…bringing you back to presence, alignment, and quiet awareness.

We believe that energy is not something abstract— it lives in the objects you wear, the spaces you inhabit, and the rituals you return to. House of Ethea was created to honor that connection. To transform the everyday into something intentional. To invite softness, protection, and meaning into your life.

These are not just adornments. They are reminders. Anchors. Quiet companions. Pieces you reach for in moments of transition, in times of grounding, in your daily rituals of becoming.

Our connection to nature:

Besides using recycled silver for our jewelry, we also choose not to source newly mined stones and, instead, honor those that already exist. Each crystal is carefully discovered by Valeria, our founder, during her visits to antique stores and vintage markets—places where forgotten pieces are waiting for new hands and new meaning.

Once selected, each crystal is gently restored through a process of energetic care: cleansed with water, purified with sahumerio, and placed under a 28-day lunar cycle. It is then activated with prayer, intention, and presence.

Our packaging is also chosen with care. Each box is not only made with recycled materials, but also designed to feel like a ritual from the moment you receive and open it.

We plant medicinal herbs with each order. (Thank you, we love you)

Valeria Hinojosa

—founder

An author, environmental activist, creator and conscious entrepreneur devoted to a life in deep relationship with nature. Over a decade ago, she left a career in private banking to follow a path more aligned with her values, giving rise to her platform Water Thru Skin—where she inspires others to live more consciously, gently, and in connection with the Earth. Her work has been featured in Forbes, Vogue, WWD, ELLE, People, Telemundo, El País, and other international media. She is also the author of En Busca de la Suavidad (Finding Softness), published with HarperCollins, and co-creator of Cura, a healing and personal growth platform offering access to therapists, energy workers, astrologers, and guides.

Ethea was born as an extension of Valeria’s daily rituals—a space where her connection to nature, spirituality, and intentional living could take form. Rooted in the belief that words carry power, each piece is designed with affirmations drawn from her book, inviting the wearer to gently reprogram their belief system and move through life with more softness, presence, and trust. Deeply inspired by her connection to Bali—a place she has returned to year after year—each piece is handmade by local artisans and blessed through ceremony, carrying with it the essence of ritual, devotion, and energy. Through Ethea, Valeria invites you to adorn yourself not just with beauty, but with intention.
